United Methodist Women

We have two women's circles at Zion that make up the Joint UMW:

Koinonia Circle meets the 1st Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

Naomi-Ruth Circle meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 11:30 am.

The Joint UMW meets the 2nd Sunday of February, April, August, & November at 5:00 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

These circles sponsor various service projects throughout the year.  Come join us for fun, fellowship, & service!

The Zion UMC Men’s Club strives to share the love of Jesus Christ through service to our local church and the community. The Club leads a variety of service projects, supports charities, and provides assistance to needy families.  Our group meets on the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm for food, fellowship, devotions and prayer.  The Club is known for its annual turkey stew and barbecue fundraisers.  All men of the church and community are welcome to attend.

Men's Fast pitch Softball - We sponsor a fast pitch softball team for anyone wanting to play.  We play from May until August.

Helping Hands - This is our banner ministry and it consists of a group of ladies who love to sew.  They are responsible for many of the beautiful banners that adorn our sanctuary.

Vacation Bible School - Our Vacation Bible School is open to children and adults of all ages.  It is a popular ministry and you do not have to be a member of Zion to participate.

Bible Study - We have Potter's Clay Bible Study that takes place each Saturday at 7:00 AM, with breakfast served. It is open to any man wanting to attend.

Potter’s Clay is a men’s small Bible study group that meets each Saturday morning at 7:00 am in the Meeting Room of the Family Life Center.  The group shares a meal, scripture, prayer and accountability discussions while seeking to lift each other to be better sons, husbands, fathers, and leaders through a greater relationship with Jesus Christ.  Study materials have included Men’s Fraternity and 33 The Series from Authentic Manhood, Stepping Up from Family Life, Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and others. All men of the church and community are welcome to attend.
